Job Description:

A hospital and ASC are seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage. The facility is located in St. Peters, MO. This position may require floating to an additional site. The cases include a variety of general surgery, orthopedics, total joints, urology, podiatry, endoscopy, lungs, blocks, and healthy pediatrics (ENT). There are some eye cases, but no hearts, heads, trauma, or OB. Endoscopy is performed in a non-OR location, though it is close to the OR. Rare sedation with MRI may be required, along with occasional TEEs and cardioversions. The position is medically supervised (not medically directed), and the facility uses the EPIC EMR system. The three most common blocks are spinals, adductor canal blocks, and interscalene blocks. CRNAs perform blocks along with anesthesiologists, so candidates who do not perform blocks will still be considered for the role.
