Job Description:

Direct a team of nurses in a fast-paced hospital environment, overseeing services and workflow for various departments, including PAT, Pre/Post, PACU, Short Stay, ENDO, and Interventional Radiology.

This role requires relocation to St. Louis, MO, and is not a remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Develop departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
  
• Direct clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management.
  
• Plan, organize, and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives.
  
• Prepare and monitor budgets and ensure that assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.
  
• Coordinate and direct internal and externally-driven audits.
  
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Master's degree in nursing or related field; Bachelor's degree in Nursing if Master's is not in Nursing.
    
  • Three years' registered nurse experience, with one year in direct people management/leadership.
    
  • PAT, Pre/Post, PACU, Short Stay, ENDO, Interventional Radiology experience strongly preferred.
    
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
    
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration or Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State.
