Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic medical radiographs to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care.Key Responsibilities

• Produce quality radiographs using appropriate positioning and exposure techniques.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance tasks, including scanning in previous films for comparison.
• Communicate technical information effectively with patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to changes in workload and prioritize tasks to meet departmental needs.
• Maintain accurate patient information and history in the MRS system.
• Mail exam result letters and appointment reminder letters in a timely manner.
• Ensure orders are entered into the Epic system for procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Schedule patients as needed and demonstrate a professional and respectful attitude towards coworkers.Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiology Technology program and registry eligible.
  • Two years of Radiology Technology experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).Working ConditionsThis role requires working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to blood and body fluids, as well as other biological hazards.
