Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Electroencephalographic Technologist to join our team at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic electroencephalograph (EEG) testing and assisting in various neurological procedures.Responsibilities

• Conduct and assist in EEG testing, ECGs, exercise tolerance, holters, BIOZ's, and Prime ECG procedures.
• Recognize cardiac rhythmic abnormalities and initiate CPR if necessary.
• Routinely check the status of EEG software and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs for statistical and accounting purposes.
• Assist in Quality Assurance monitoring and environmental controls.
• Identify and correct for artifacts and edit results for attending physician analysis.
• Maintain EEG equipment and supplies.Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of EEG experience required.
  • Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) - ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation required within 18 months.Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time variable shift position with a pay range starting at $26.01.
